The main goal of Swedish massage is to calm the body and mind, and lightly release muscle tension. Hopi Ear Candling

30 minutes – £35 (Mini Facial Lymphatic Drainage included)
45 minutes – £48 (Facial Drainage Massage included)

Hopi Ear Candling (also known as Thermo-Auricular Therapy) is an ancient practice that is gentle and non-invasive. It can help provide relief from symptoms of ear congestion, sinusitis, and allergies.  Additionally, it can have physical benefits from relieving tension headaches to reducing the feeling of pressure in the head.  Furthermore, ear candling has a calming and soothing effect on the body and mind, which can help alleviate the symptoms of stress, anxiety, and insomnia, promoting a state of emotional balance and wellbeing.

The practice uses hollow tubes made of cotton, honey and herbs. When lit, the candle acts like a chimney, causing the warm air inside it to rise and it creates a vacuum at the bottom. This vacuum gently stimulates the ear, facilitating removal of excess wax and impurities.

You will experience a pleasant crackling sound which is akin to being near an open fire and a gentle warmth from the candle burning, both of which many people find deeply relaxing. No ear wax is removed from the ear during the treatment but you may find a slight discharge of wax coming away naturally from the ear post treatment - usually this occurs whilst showering.

This treatment includes facial lymphatic drainage massage which can help promote drainage of lymphatic fluids to reducing build up in the sinuses. It can also help ease tension in the facial muscles and aid general relaxation.

I only use Biosun Hopi Ear Candles which are made by hand using premium quality, pesticide-free, untreated cotton together with beeswax and honey extract. They are 100% Organic and the only Ear Candles to carry the CE 0535 label of conformity, certified medical products according to the EU Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC.
